3" Body Lift Kit
- Fits 1963-1976 Standard Beetle.
- Type 1
- For Dune Buggies with shortened pan it will require minor cutting of the side to fit the length of your shortened pan. Bulk head and rear sections will remain the same.
With this low cost 3" body lift you will be able to gain the extra height you are needing to clear larger tires and/or give your buggy that epic lifted look and feel for off-roading.
The 3" VW lift is made from steel channel construction, this body lift kit as mentioned will help provide you with clearance for those larger tires, and protect your Beetle, Baja or Dune Buggy body and fenders.
This kit installs between the chassis and body that bolts together with the included hardware. This kit would require an extended Steering Shaft (Not Included). It is necessary and also preferred to have the body off the chassis when installing this kit.
Siena & Raquella from Reno Off Road has this kit on their Fiberglass Dune Buggy and are able to run 235 | 31" BFG K02 tires on the buggy now with the lift.

- The kit is "built to order" and takes approx. 14 to 21 days to ship.
The VW Baja Bug Beetle Body Lift Kit also works on fiberglass dune buggies as shown above. Just know you will have to cut the long side channels to fit your application.
Some rework and contouring of the bend on the corners may be required for best fit. If you have any question while installing the kit contact us. We have installed several kits and can walk you through the process. Instruction to not come with the kit, because it requires removing the body and potentially electronic components of a VW Beetle, therefore, the VW owners manual is essential in this portion of the project.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We accept returns on unused products, buyers have decided against them after receiving them, on a case-by-case basis.
Contact us if you ordered a product that you have since decided against, and we will do our very best to get it returned or exchanged.
Any unused merchandise in the original packaging may be returned within 10 days of the original purchase date or received date depending on the shipping timeline. There are no returns on electrical items, special orders such as build to order products. Discontinued items will be evaluated to determine if the product can be returned. No returns will be accepted of damaged (by user) or used items.
Return requests need to be submitted using the attached form, so we can issue an RMA. Please include the original packaging and a copy of your invoice or receipt.
